Notion

Connect Notion to bring your team’s documents into your Mythos chats. Instead of copying a brief into a prompt, link the page and ask Mythos to use its requirements, content, or decisions while building.

The connection uses your Notion account. It is personal and available across your projects; teammates connect their own accounts. It does not give your published app a live connection to Notion.

What you can use it for

• Build from a product brief. Turn a Notion requirements page into a first version of your app.
• Use approved content. Read brand guidelines, product descriptions, or help articles to shape a page.
• Work from a database. Explore an accessible Notion database and use its structure or records to plan an interface.
• Keep project notes. Ask Mythos to create or update a page through the tools available to your account, and review the change when prompted.

For example:

Read this Notion brief and build the onboarding flow it describes: [page link]. Use the acceptance criteria to decide which screens we need. Tell me if a requirement is missing.

Or:

Use the product names and descriptions in this Notion database to create a catalog page. Include only the records marked Approved.

Be explicit about whether you want to use information in the app or change the original Notion page. Building a page from Notion content does not keep it automatically synchronized with later edits.

Connect Notion

1. Open Connectors on the Mythos Dashboard and select Notion.
2. Open the connection form and select Connect Notion. If you already have a connection, choose Add connection first.
3. Sign in to the Notion account and workspace that contain your material. Review and approve Notion’s requested access.
4. Return to your project chat and reference the page or database you want to use.

No API key or separate Notion integration is required for this connection. The hosted Notion MCP service uses browser authorization.

Start with a page you can open in Notion yourself. If Mythos cannot find it, check the connected workspace and that account’s access. A link does not grant permission to a private page.

Using the connection

Give Mythos a page link or a distinctive title and describe which part matters. For a long brief, name the section. For a database, specify the records or fields you need.

Mythos can only use the tools and content available through the connected account. Local file uploads to Notion are not part of this connection.

To stop using Notion in Mythos, open the saved connection in Connectors and select Disconnect. You can also review third-party access in Notion’s connection settings. See Notion’s MCP guide for account access and supported tools.
